Restaurateur, entrepreneur, and proud family man, Joel Pfyffer has been at the helm of Prosciutto's Pizzeria & Pub for over 20 years. Known affectionately as "Pros," the restaurant is a cornerstone of the community, celebrated for its massive portions, award-winning wings, and a family-friendly atmosphere paired with a lively bar.
Joel’s love for food and service runs deep, inspired by watching everyday people build thriving pizza restaurants during his youth—a dream he turned into reality at the age of 29. Over the years, Joel has built more than just a restaurant; he’s cultivated a space where customers grow from cribs to college, forming lifelong relationships along the way. His proudest achievements include the longevity of Pros, weathering tough economic times, and staying true to his passion for hospitality. Joel also takes pride in passing on the entrepreneurial spirit to his two daughters, teaching them the value of hard work, community, and giving back.
When he’s not managing Prosciutto's with his GM Sully, Joel and his family can be found traveling the world, immersing themselves in local cultures and cuisines, especially across Europe. Warm and understanding, Joel’s philosophy is simple: “I’ve been there—let me help you.”
